On the 8th of September will be the festivities in honor of the Virgin of Rebollet, patron saint of the city, begin with the pilgrimage in which hundreds of walkers participate accompanied by a cane from which a pumpkin ignites. The itinerary conveys the image of the virgin, a Romanesque carving of the twelfth century considered the oldest Marian representation of the Valencian Community, from the Square of Santa Maria to the Castle. There a mass of thanks and a tortiva to the patron saint is celebrated. Afterwards, at mealtime, the rosemary distributes wine and fruit to the attendees.
