With an altitude of 753 meters, Mount Montgó is a Natural Park where you can find more than 650 different species of flora, mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Its trails will take you into caves, secluded spots eventually ending up at the summit, where you will amazed by a scenery that will exceed your expectations.
Colorful sails rising in the immensity of blue, from the sky, from the water from the freedom evoked by sailing ships, by seas, by the Mediterranean landscapes. Windsurf, sailing and undersea sports have the best conditions and the MARINA OF DÉNIA with his restaurants and pubs are inviting you to enjoy its local ambiance.
Golf enthusiasts will find two 18-holes golf courses very close to Dénia, LA SELLA and OLIVA NOVA GOLF.
Dénia has a taste of the sea and of the Valencian orchards, offering a wide range of local produce including the famous Valencian Oranges. The infamous “arroz a banda”, the renowned Dénia red prawn, and a great variety of rice distinguish the exquisite cuisine of this region.
This charming city offers much in the way of music, dance, concerts and “fiestas”, including the FALLAS in March, the “MAIN FIESTAS” in July and the “Moors and Christians” parades in August. There is always something to celebrate, because Dénia celebrates life.
Las Rotas:
Heading to the south of Denia you can find the amazing area of Les Rotes, made up of a multitude of small coves and private spots of great beauty.
Entering Denia we come across la Marineta, El Trampolí, Punta Negra, Arenetes and La Cala, mostly formed by white stone.
Year after year, the European Union grants to these beaches the blue flag, to distinguish them by its cleaning and equipment. This beaches count with a service of buses to the urban ring and different zones with bars and restaurants.
